Open Digital Ecosystems (ODEs) represent the 3.0 paradigm in GovTech. While India has established itself as a global leader in building population-scale digital platforms, the ’non-tech’ layers of Community and robust Governance require equal emphasis. A ‘phygital’ approach will ensure last-mile access to public digital infrastructure.
National level ODEs can unlock an estimated USD 500+ billion worth of new economic value. It is, thus, critical to watch out for the next frontiers of ODEs in India.
